Erstwilder x RBGV Mānuka Brooch

$59.95

Fine leaves and clusters of dainty blooms give mānuka its understated charm. Tough, adaptable, and impressive, it’s a native with more going on than first meets the eye.

At first glance, mānuka is all fine leaves and dainty flowers. Look again and its toughness, adaptability and complexity begin to show. Hand-assembled from layered resin, the limited-run Mānuka Brooch honours a native that never needs to shout for attention. Understated, enduring and more interesting with every look, it is a botanical piece for those who appreciate beauty with substance.

Take a wearable tour with a landmark collaboration between Erstwilder and Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. This collection celebrates the remarkable living world of the Gardens through true-to-life Victorian native flowers, familiar garden birds and beloved scenes from the Melbourne Gardens.

Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of Erstwilder designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in Erstwilder's designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in Erstwilder brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
