Moe Moe Design

Moe Moe Design is the capsule wardrobe of Australian made earrings: flip them to plain silver, swap your studs to hooks, or stack other Moe Moe pieces together to build something special for any outfit.

Moe Moe Design and Museums of History NSW have come together again to curate a new collection that can be taken home with you and enjoyed long after your visit.

The Textiles collection has been created in collaboration with Moe Moe Design in memory of the past inhabitants of the Hyde Park Barracks.
The underfloor cavities at the Hyde Park Barracks have revealed thousands of textile fragments during archaeological excavations.
Most date from 1848 to 18876, a period when the Barracks was home mostly to women: an Irish orphan refuge (184852), an immigration depot (184876), and a shelter or asylum for the aged, infirm and destitute (186286). The textiles may have been lost under the floorboards, removed by rodents or intentionally discarded or concealed.
